A post for Sunday

When we left Tokyo in July 2023 after a year of living there, I was devastated. When I found a very affordable flight ticket to go in February 2024, I took the chance. It was a busy time, so I crazily decided to take a 4-day trip. Taking this ultra short whirlwind trip on my own was so empowering - it made me realize that when I miss it the most and need it in my soul, I can make it happen (well, with an affordable flight anyways). For the occasion, I bought a “new to me” Leica M4 and honestly, shot one of my most favorite roll of film ever. I wonder if my love for these photographs is more emotional than technical, but hey, does it matter? I felt like this particular roll of Kodak Tmax3200 encapsulated my trip in a nutshell of 36 frames and it was so special. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t shared it here, so I am sharing a few of my favorite frames here.

You can see the whole roll here: https://pochi.instaproofs.com/TokyoFeb2024.

Tokyo, Japan

All images are from a roll of Kodak Tmax3200. It might be one of my most favorite rolls I’ve ever shot.

Ending this post with a place that always make me happy - the Traveler’s Factory shop in Nakameguro. I love this shop with all my heart. I always go and stamp my journals with their stamps, buy a cup of coffee and bring it upstairs to enjoy quiet journaling time. It is such a luxury and an act of self-love and I am always grateful for any amount of time I have there.
